Agent dashboard — workflows
The Agent dashboard is the working list of applications for your tenant. It solves the problem of finding, filtering, and acting on the right application quickly instead of scanning a flat, unfiltered list. This page covers the step-by-step for each capability on the dashboard (v2). UI labels match the product as of the last verification date in the frontmatter.
Open the Agent dashboard
- Sign in to LendAPI.
- Click Agent Dashboard in the sidebar.
- Confirm the page title reads Agent Dashboard.
Legacy navigation may still expose the same list at /v2/application/applications/; prefer Agent Dashboard in the sidebar.
Search for an application
The search field rotates placeholders: Search ID, Search Applicant, Search Phone.
- Click the search box.
- Enter one of the following:
- Application ID — numeric (up to 9 digits for direct ID match)
- Applicant name — first, last, or full name
- Phone — US-style numbers with or without formatting
- Press Enter or activate the search button.
- To clear search results, use the clear control in the search field (shown after a successful search).
The table resets to page 1 after each search.

Filter applications
Filters appear in the bar above the table when at least one application exists (or after data has loaded once). Each filter’s options are populated from your tenant’s own data — for example, the Product filter only lists products your tenant has configured, and the Assigned filter only lists your tenant’s team members.
Filter by status
- Click the Status filter.
- Choose a stage (e.g. Review, Processing, Approved).
- The table refreshes; counts in the dropdown reflect the current filter context.
Each application’s stage can carry a color tag (for example, a stage might display in sky blue or purple) so you can scan the list visually rather than reading every status label.
Filter by product
- Click the Product filter.
- Select one or more products (multi-select).
- The list shows only matching applications.
If you pick a product that’s no longer valid for the current data set, the filter clears itself back to no selection rather than showing an empty, confusing list.
Filter by assignee
- Click the Assigned filter.
- Choose a team member, or the unassigned option when available.
- Use this for “my queue” or “unassigned work.”
Filter by tag
- Click the Tag filter.
- Choose Untagged or one or more tags. Tags in your tenant can carry a color, which shows next to the tag name.
- Add the Tag column via column settings if you want to see tags without opening detail.
Filter by sub-tenant (Tenant ID)
Available when your tenant uses sub-tenants.
- Click the Tenant ID filter.
- Select Acme West, Acme East, or another sub-tenant name.
Filter by lead source
Available when lead buy is enabled for your tenant.
- Click the Lead Source filter.
- Select a source from the list.
Reset all filters
- Click Reset (with the circular arrow icon).
- All column filters clear; search text is unchanged — clear search separately if needed.
Sort the table
Sortable column headers show sort affordances when supported.
| Column | Sortable |
|---|---|
| ID | Yes |
| Lead Source | Yes (when column shown) |
| Applicant | Yes |
| Tenant ID | Yes (when column shown) |
| Last Updated | Yes |
| Store ID | Yes |
| Associate ID | Yes |
| Assigned | Yes |
| Status | Yes |
| Product | No |
| Tag | No |
| Phone | No |
| Outcome | No |
- Click a sortable header once for ascending, again for descending.
- Sorting sends the sort to the server; pagination applies after sort.
Paginate results
- Use the footer at the bottom of the table.
- Move to the next or previous page, or jump pages if the control supports it.
- Default page size is 10 rows per page.
Search and filters apply to the full dataset; changing pages does not clear them.
Customize columns
Not available to Auditor.
Your column layout — which columns are shown, and in what order — is saved for you individually rather than reset every visit.
Reorder columns
- Click the gear icon (column settings) on the right above the table.
- Drag a row by the six-dot handle next to a column name.
- Order saves automatically.
Remove a column
- Open the gear menu.
- Click X on a column row.
- Applicant and Status cannot be removed.
Add a column
- Open the gear menu.
- Click Add Columns at the bottom.
- Check columns in the list (e.g. Phone, Store ID, Outcome, Tag).
- Checked columns move into the selected list immediately.
Close the menu
Click outside the dropdown or toggle the gear button again.

Export applications to CSV
Not available to Auditor.
- Apply any filters or search you want reflected in the export (confirm behavior with your admin — export may use server rules for the current view).
- Click Export.
- The browser downloads
applications.csv.
If export fails, retry after Reset or contact your administrator.
Start a new application
Not available to Auditor.
- Click Application (button with + icon).
- Wait for the product list to load if you see Loading....
- Click a product name (e.g. Personal Loan).
- The applicant application flow opens in a new browser tab.
If the menu shows No products found, your tenant has no active products exposed to agents — use Go to Product Studio from the empty state or ask an admin.
Open the Customers list
- Click Customers (secondary button, top right, opened from Agent Dashboard).
- You navigate to the customers area at
/application/customers/.
Use this when you have a customer record but need to find related applications outside the current filters.
Open an application (detail page)
From ID:
- Click the numeric ID in the left column (link).
From actions:
- Click View Application (arrow icon) in the right Action column.
Both routes open the v2 application detail URL: /application/detail/{session}/.
Continue work on the Application tab — update status, assign, tags, documents. See Application detail and Assigning and tags.

Expand multi-applicant (parent/child) rows
When your tenant enables multi-applicant flows.
- Find a parent row with an expand arrow beside ID.
- Click the arrow to show child applicant rows.
- Click again to collapse.
- Open any child via its ID or View Application.
Child rows share the parent’s product context but have their own IDs and statuses.
Switch Sandbox and Production
- In the top header (right side), open the environment dropdown.
- Select Sandbox or Production.
- Wait for the page to reload and a toast: Sandbox turned on or Live Mode.
- Re-open Agent Dashboard if needed.
The header background uses a warm tint in Sandbox. Applications shown match the selected environment only.

Worked example: clearing a stale “Review” queue for a personal loan product
Elena is an underwriter at a credit union that uses LendAPI for Personal Loan and Auto Refi products. At the start of her shift she wants to work only her own assigned applications sitting in review.
- She opens Agent Dashboard from the sidebar.
- She clicks Reset to clear any filters left over from yesterday.
- She clicks the Assigned filter and selects her own name.
- She clicks the Status filter and selects Review.
- She clicks the Last Updated column header once to sort oldest-first, so applications that have been sitting the longest surface at the top.
- The list narrows to 6 applications, all Personal Loan, all assigned to her, all in Review.
- She clicks the numeric ID on the oldest row — an application for $18,500 at a 690 FICO — which opens the detail page in the current tab.
- After updating the status on the detail page, she returns to the dashboard. The row reflects the new status once the list refreshes.
Use case: separating sub-tenant queues
A credit union operates two branches as sub-tenants, Acme West and Acme East, sharing one LendAPI tenant. A branch manager at Acme East only wants to see applications originated by her branch, not the combined tenant list.
- She opens Agent Dashboard.
- She clicks the Tenant ID filter and selects Acme East.
- The table shows only Acme East applications; the Tenant ID column (if added via column settings) confirms the branch on each row.
- She combines this with the Status filter to see, for example, only Processing applications at her branch.
This filter only appears when the tenant uses sub-tenants, so a single-branch lender won’t see it.
Work after changing filters (recommended flow)
- Reset filters when switching tasks (e.g. from declines to your assigned queue).
- Set Assigned → yourself.
- Set Status → the stage you are working.
- Sort Last Updated for priority.
- Open the first View Application.
- After saving on detail, return to the list — the row reflects updates on refresh.
Best practices
- Reset before you start a new task. Filters persist across page loads for your session, so leftover filters from a prior task can hide applications you need to see.
- Use the Assigned + Status combination for daily queue work. It’s the fastest way to isolate what you personally owe action on.
- Add the Tag column instead of opening detail repeatedly if your team relies on tags to route work — this saves a click per application.
- Confirm sub-tenant scope before exporting or reporting, since the Tenant ID filter changes which applications are included.
- Don’t rely on column order for anything besides personal convenience. Column layout is saved per user, not per tenant, so a layout you build isn’t visible to teammates.
- Don’t use the Agent dashboard for bulk assignment or status changes. It is a list and search surface; those actions happen on the application detail page (see the “What you cannot do” table below).
What you cannot do on the Agent dashboard
| Action | Where to do it instead |
|---|---|
| Update application status | Application detail → Update status |
| Assign user | Application detail → Assign |
| Add or remove tags | Application detail → tags area / Manage tags |
| Run underwriting | Application detail → Underwriting tab |
| Bulk-assign many rows | Not supported on the list; assign per application on detail |
| Configure tenant-wide default columns | [NEEDS PM INPUT] — per-user column layout only in current product |
