Offer tables
Last updated: 2025–03-11
Offer tables define the pricing and terms (e.g. amount, rate, term) that the system can present to applicants. The pricing engine uses these tables, often in combination with rules and product config, to generate offers.
Viewing offer tables
- From the main navigation, open Pricing Engine (or Workflows → Pricing Engine).
- The list shows all offer tables: name, status (active/inactive), and possibly product or date info.
Creating an offer table
- On the Pricing Engine page, click Create or Add offer table.
- Enter the required fields (e.g. name, product, rate/term tiers, or other parameters as defined in your UI).
- Save. The new table is created in inactive state until you activate it.
Creating a table does not affect live applications until the table is activated and linked (e.g. by product or rules).
Editing an offer table
- Open the offer table from the list (click the row or Edit).
- Change name, tiers, or other parameters.
- Save. If the table is already active, changes may apply to new decisions; existing applications typically keep their current offer.
Activating an offer table
- Open the offer table.
- Click Activate (or set status to Active).
- Once active, the table can be used by the system to generate offers (subject to product and rules configuration).
Only one table per product (or per scope) may be active at a time in some configurations; activating one may deactivate another. The UI will indicate if that’s the case.
Deactivating and deleting
- Deactivate: Set the table to Inactive so it’s no longer used for new offers. Existing offers already presented are not changed.
- Delete: Permanently remove the table. Deactivate first and ensure no critical flows depend on it. Deleted tables cannot be recovered.
